Jennifer Rene Psaki
Psaki was the oldest of three daughters. She was the daughter of Eileen Dolan Medvey (Psychotherapist, 8] and Dimitrios R. Psaki (Greek, Demetrios R. Psakes), both of whom were real estate agents. Her grandfather was a Greek who immigrated from Greece in 1904 and her grandmother was of Irish heritage. Her parents were married in 1976. Psaki is also descended from Polish origins. Psaki graduated in 1996 from Greenwich High School. In the year 2000, she earned a College of William & Mary degree in English and Sociology. She is a Chi Omega sorority member. Psaki was backstroke swimmer on the William & Mary Tribe's athletic team for two years in succession. Psaki's career began in 2001, when she became a part of the campaigns to re-elect Tom Harkin, an Iowa Democrat for the U.S. Senate, and Tom Vilsack, a candidate for governor. Psaki then became John Kerry's press secretary. Psaki was the communications director for Joseph Crowley, a U.S. representative, as well as the regional press secretary of Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. MSNBC announced Psaki as a political analyst for 2022 United States Elections and during the 2024 presidential campaign. In 2023 she will host a show on MSNBC's Peacock streaming site. [35The 35-year-old Psaki first made an appearance on television in 2023 after she was fired from her position as White House press secretary and talked about the Robb Elementary School school shooting.
